This was the central prayer in my Equinox ritual for 2015. Feel free to use it, if you reprint it anywhere, please credit me and link to this post.
I call out to the goddess Nemetona,
The Green Lady, the
Sanctifier, the Face in the Trees,
She who guards the
Sacred Grove.
She who keeps the
gates between worlds,
Steadfastly you have
protected me,
I have sheltered in
your groves and rested in your sanctuary.
Hail to you,
Nemetona, because you are strong!
You have watched
from on high, like a bird on the wing,
You have guarded all
that is sacred,
From the smallest
shrine, to the mighty standing stones,
You permeate the
very ground with your presence
So my every step is
holy.
Hail to you,
Nemetona, because you are worthy!
I offer to you,
Nemetona, to do you honor,
I bring you sweet
spices and the fruit of the forest.
Rowan-crowned you
wait among the trees
For the seeker to
come to you.
Here I have come,
Lady of Oak, Lady of Birch,
To lay offerings at
your feet and bless you.
Hail to you, Nemetona, because you are Queen!
Hail to you, Nemetona, because you are Queen!
